Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council is hosting two free Food Safety Information Sessions for community groups, fundraising stallholders and food businesses operating at events within Cootamundra-Gundagai.
Hosted by Council’s Environmental Health Officer, this practical and engaging 90-minute session will help you understand your food safety responsibilities and build a positive food safety culture.
You’ll learn about:
Food safety laws and your obligations
Preventing foodborne illness
Cleaning, sanitising and handwashing practices
The session will include two interactive activities: a handwashing activity and a test-your-knowledge challenge. Light refreshments and a take-home information pack will be provided, with a lucky door prize at each location.
